Reliable supply of electricity, water, gas and data is essential for all people. GOconnectIT believes that geo-data is indispensable to support this social interest. That is why we make data of cables and pipelines transparent, efficient and accessible with innovative IT in which GIS (Geographic Information System) plays an important part. We support this with our consultancy and expertise from Smallworld.
With our GIS software we meet the need to visualize, analyze and edit geographic information in various forms, such as addresses, vectors, objects, networks, topology, terrain. Our specialists manage and maintain existing client applications for Dutch network operators such as Stedin, Liander and Enexis. In addition, we deliver and implement GIS applications that we have developed ourselves for Schiphol Airport, Joulz and projects of the provinces and Rijkswaterstaat. Our mobile GIS viewer is also used by various customers, such as Enexis, Stedin, Joulz and Westland Infra. GIS helps our customers ahead.
We supply our own ATLAS GIS system for managing cable and pipeline networks to various Dutch contractors, network operators and project organizations. ATLAS is based on Smallworld™ Core Spatial Technology, a GE Energy product that offers a powerful architecture for various applications and for which GOconnectIT is now a Solutions Provider.
ATLAS is modular and supports the planning, design and construction of telecom networks and distribution systems for gas, water and electricity. It integrates with other systems and is easy to adjust. This enables us to respond to specific needs. In addition, we can host the ATLAS GIS system, so that customers do not have to deal with it.
With LOVION from our German partner ITS, we offer extensive IT support for technical business processes. Lovion, through its deep integration with GIS and ERP systems, among other things, makes information such as maps, asset data and process data available to employees quickly and easily.
However, the biggest strength of the Lovion platform lies in the flexible provision of data. Due to the compactness of the data, the user can work via intranet, internet and with mobile solutions. With Windows, iOS and Android all common operating systems and devices are supported. As a result, the information is not only available in the office, but also in the field, both online and offline.
The users of LOVION, such as network operators and contractors, can therefore easily consult maps and assets and, for example, search for a gas leak. The documentation can be fully digitally fed back to the office. The company-wide access to asset data from, for example, GIS and ERP with LOVION makes it easier to manage on time, quality and costs, more effective planning is possible and full documentation is guaranteed.
